I left for New York today to attend the CBS Open House. Erin and Nina dropped me off at the airport. When it was time for Nina to go to sleep, the routine is for the three of us to stand, hug each other, and bounce up and down a little saying "Hugga hugga hugga!" Usually we get a little smile out of Nina. Erin told me that tonight, Nina said "Daddy?!" Nina signed "work" thinking/questioning whether I was working. Erin told her that I had taken the plane. Nina began to cry a bit and so Erin distracted her by including the friends in the hug: Popo Bear, Mousy, and George. This story warms my heart.
